Linux - Download files through FTP

To download all files recursively run the following command.


wget -nc -np --reject "index.html*" -e robots=off  -r  ftp://user:[email protected]/


Replace user:pass with your FTP username and password.


If you only want to download a specific folder you can run

wget -nc -np --reject "index.html*" -e robots=off  -r  ftp://user:[email protected]/whois/


To download the whois folder
